ai.cognite (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
ai.cognite provides artificial intelligence training, awareness, consultancy and publishing. Our registered details and data controller contact are: registered company name, number and address. For any question about this policy, contact Support@aicognite.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. Name, work email, organisation, telephone number and the content of your message when you contact us. Our enquiry form opens your own email app; nothing is stored on this website.
Information collected automatically. Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages requested and referring page, used to keep the site secure and working.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not collect special-category data through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry — because you have asked us to, and as steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To provide services you engage us for — performance of a contract.
- To keep the site secure and improve it — our legitimate interest in operating a safe, working website.
- To send you updates you have asked for — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example website hosting (Vercel) and email — under contracts that require them to protect it, and with authorities where we are legally obliged to.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for retention period unless they become part of a client relationship, in which case they are retained for the duration of that relationship and for the period afterwards required by law and our insurers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email Support@aicognite.com. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
International transfers and security
Where information is transferred outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Intellectual property
All content, branding, book content and covers, course materials and designs on this site are owned by ai.cognite, Mir Akbar Khan or their licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed or used to train any model without written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that is unlawful or that could damage its availability to others.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on the content of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of jurisdiction, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Links to YouTube and Amazon take you to those sites, which apply their own cookie policies.
